By using our service, you will accept all the below terms and conditions.
- 1- Legal Requirements:
1:1 Fitness to Drive and managing the risk is a two way process. You must hold a current UK driving (provisional) license both parts and show the instructor before Lessons can begin.
1:2 You must be able to read (with glasses or contact lenses, if necessary) a car number plate made after 1 September 2001 from 20 meters. You could be prosecuted if you drive without meeting the standards of vision for driving.
1:3 Any Changes in your medical condition which affect your driving license must be communicated with the Instructor Immediately.
1:4 Practical Footwear is needed to learn to drive
1:5 If the Instructor believes that you fail to meet the fitness to drive criteria the lesson will be cancelled at the learner drivers expense.
1:6 The ‘Instructor’ – cannot be held responsible for any loss damage or injury arising from a driving lesson.
1:7 You must notify your instructor of any matters which affect your ability and disclose any medical conditions which can affect your ability to drive with medical issues.
- 2- Cancellation of Booked Lessons:
2:1 If the instructor cancels a lesson due to illness or breakdown or car repairs, your instructor shall rearrange the lesson.
2:2 If you do not give at least 48hrs notice of cancellation you will be charged for the lesson.
Due to unforeseen family emergencies the lessons will be cancelled we will endeavour to let you know about the cancellations at the earliest convenience.
- 3- Practical Driving Tests:
3:1 We will work together to make every effort to ensure you are at practical driving test standard and have a thorough knowledge of the DVSA set skills. A Class Driver Training instructor reserves the right to withdraw the use of the school vehicle for the practical test, without prior notice if the Instructor feels that you are ‘unsafe’ in the interest of safety. Your practical booked test will be moved forward if the instructor believes that you are not ready for the driving test. - 4- Damage to the School Vehicle:
4:1 During lesson the Instructor will make every effort to avoid damage to the vehicle. If the Instructor considers that you were driving in an unsafe way despite best efforts made and actual damage is caused you will be expected to pay half towards repairs up to the level of excess on the tuition policy. This will discussed at the time of the damage.
4:2 During your Driving Test the Examiner will not prevent you from hitting the kerb or causing minor damage to the car. Therefore all damage caused whilst on Test will be charged to you up to the full level of excess on the tuition policy. - 5- Lawful Penalties:
5:1 You will always be under close supervision whilst driving the school vehicle and as much as the instructor is there to teach you the driver have the responsibility to keep the car safe and as the legal driver are responsible for any infringement of the law. Any fines that are incurred will be the responsibility of the driver.
- 6- Usage of photos at website, social media and advertisements:
6:1 You agree to allow posting pictures of your driving test pass on our social media pages, website and advertisements,
6:2 If you don’t want us to upload your photo at social media & website, please let us know before passing your driving test.
7- Price Changes
7:1 We reserve the right to change the price of all our learner driver products including all Lessons, at any time.
8- Non-Block Booked Tuition
8:1 The price of lessons that have not been pre-paid may be changed at any time.
9- Block Booked Tuition
9:1 The cost of Block Booked tuition is based on the lesson price in force at the time that the booking is made and will be honoured for a period of 3 months from the date of the booking. We reserve the right to increase the price of any unused tuition time.
10- Special Offers
10:1 We also reserve the right to introduce (and to withdraw) offers from time to time in respect of both Our driving tuition together with any other products that We may decide.
10:2 Such offers will not affect the price of Block Bookings unless it is expressly stated within the offer.
10:3 These terms and conditions shall apply to the special offers.
11- Payment
11:1 You must pay for your lesson(s) in advance using the following methods:
11:2 Payment via cash to your instructor at the start of each lesson
11:3 Payment via bank transfer to your driving instructor at least 48 hours before your agreed lesson date and time.
11:4 Payment via cash made directly to Your Instructor.
12- Prepaid Payment Refund Policy
12:1 All crash courses deposit will be made in advance and all the deposits are non-refundable.
